Pediatric Speech / Language Therapy

We strive to promote optimal communication through receptive and expressive language functions. The therapist is responsible for assessment of and programs for:

     Oral motor function for feeding andspeech skills

     Articulation skills

     Auditory processing

     Receptive/expressive language skillsincluding possible apraxia and disarthria

     Total communication for the hearing impaired.

     Voice abnormalities as with cleft palate and vocal fold functioning

     Augmentative communication devices

The therapist takes into account the child's unique physical and cognitive abilities and follows through with an individualized communication program.dysfluency and stuttering
